Your pet’s dental health is an important part of their overall health. Dental disease is the most common disease in dogs and cats in the United States. Dental health problems can lead to more serious conditions such as infections and heart or kidney disease. Some symptoms which can indicate serious dental problems include bad breath, plaque build-up, gum irritation and redness, loose teeth, tooth discoloration, dropping food, avoiding hard food, and swelling in the jaw area.
Our hospital has the equipment and capability to perform both generalized and advanced dental procedures. Full service cleanings can include state of the art digital x-rays to help diagnose problems we can’t see.
Advanced training & equipment allows us to perform procedures such as root canals, orthodontics, and oro-facial surgery. This allows for true “full service” dentistry, if something is found, either in the exam room, or during a routine dentistry, we should be able to handle it on site, rather than having your pet require a second procedure.
